stay yours.
The short version
MELD saves the information you choose to enter so your work can follow your account. It keeps each customer's workspace separate, records limited product and security activity, and gives you tools to download your data or request deletion.
What MELD collects
We collect only the information needed to run the product, keep it secure, and understand whether it is working.
- Account details. Your MELD account identifier, name, verified email, and the sign-in provider you chose. MELD never stores your Google or ChatGPT password.
- Your MELD content. The answers, confirmations, drafts, uploaded file records, and choices used to build your prompts and workflow plans.
- Product activity. Limited events such as starting or finishing a step, creating an export, or opening a workflow. We limit the details attached to these events.
- Security information. Technical information needed to prevent abuse, rate-limit requests, investigate problems, and protect accounts.
- Payment records. Payment status, amount, currency, dates, fees, refunds, and a link to the billing customer. MELD does not store your full card number.
How we use it
We use this information to give you the service you asked for. That includes saving and restoring your work, creating your final MELD, checking access, processing payments, helping with account requests, improving product reliability, and stopping misuse.
We do not sell your personal information. Google sign-in does not give MELD access to your Gmail, Drive, or other Google content. ChatGPT sign-in does not give MELD access to your ChatGPT conversations. Naming a possible source inside a MELD does not connect that source or give MELD permission to read it.
Services that help MELD work
MELD uses a small number of service providers. They receive only the information needed for their part of the service.
Clerk and Google
Clerk runs MELD's verified email, password, session, and Google sign-in. Google receives the information needed to complete Google sign-in only when you choose that option.
ChatGPT sign-in
ChatGPT can also confirm who you are and provide the basic account details needed to open the same private MELD experience.
Stripe
Runs secure checkout, handles card information, and provides payment or subscription status to MELD.
Cloud infrastructure
Runs the site and stores account records, drafts, and files in protected product storage.
Your choices
- Review your account. Your account page shows access, billing, saved MELDs, and privacy controls.
- Download your data. Use “Download your account data” to receive a copy of information MELD can export automatically.
- Ask for deletion. You can request deletion from your account page. The workspace locks while the request is reviewed, and you can cancel before it is completed.
- Manage billing. If you have a billing account, use the secure billing portal linked from your account page.
When permanent deletion finishes, MELD removes your private workspace content, stored files, account profile, linked Clerk identity, and Stripe customer link. MELD cannot delete an outside Google or ChatGPT account. It keeps one-way, non-readable markers only to stop the deleted MELD account from being recreated by an old request.
Some payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, or legal records may need to remain after an account is deleted. When that happens, identifying links are removed where possible and the records are kept only for the required reason.
Security, retention, and changes
MELD uses signed-in identity checks, per-user workspace checks, request verification, rate limits, restricted admin access, and protected network connections. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong sign-in method and protect your account.
We keep active account information while you use MELD. Product and security records are kept only as long as they are reasonably needed to run and protect the service, understand performance, handle disputes, or follow the law.
If this notice changes in a meaningful way, we will update the version and effective date. This product is not intended for children under 13.
